4th of July weekend

So for the past 5 years, we have been going to Port Townsend to see my mom's family at the family cabin and this year we actually got to stay the whole weekend. The weather was amazing and Elliott loves to play on the beach, or rock beach in this case. The community that cabin is in has a parade every 4th of July complete with a fire truck. It is just a low key weekend. We have been taking Elliott ever since he was born so it is now a family tradition. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

Building like Daddy

For for the past month, Wes has been working on fencing in out Patio and also building a BBQ cover. Last Sunday, Elliott decided that he wanted to build like daddy. Here are a few pictures.

First time in the big pool

So I think that swim lessons paid off. He is no longer hating the big pools. We went swimming one day at our friends house and he loved it. He is riding in his turtle floaty that he got last year for his birthday and hated. He loves it now!
